Records First Victory of 2013 at Dixie!!!
(May
19, 2013) "Cat Daddy"
Clint Smith visited victory lane for the first time in
2013 on Saturday night, May 18 at the historic Dixie Speedway
in Woodstock, Georgia! Piloting Laddie Fulcher's #29 Turkey
Creek Snacks car, Clint set fast time during qualifying
to earn the pole position for the feature event. The Senoia,
Georgia star then led from flag-to-flag in the A-Main
to record the dominating $1,500 victory over Jason Croft,
Donald McIntosh, Michael Page, and Jody Knowles. Full

Top Ten for
Clint Smith Racing in Visit to I-30 Speedway!
(May
12, 2013) Clint Smith,
of Senoia, Georgia, made a rare visit with the World of
Outlaws Late Model Series to the I-30 Speedway in Little
Rock, Arkansas on Saturday evening, May 11. Clint started
off the night by posting the seventh quickest lap of the
27 entrants during the qualifying session and later placed
third in his loaded heat race. After rolling off from
the inside of the fourth row in the $10,000 to win feature
event, "Cat Daddy" brought home a solid seventh
place finish following the completion of the 50-lapper.

Wet Weekend
in Georgia Wipes Out WOOLMS Doubleheader...
(May 4, 2013) Clint
Smith Racing was scheduled to compete in a pair of $10,000
to win World of Outlaws Late Model Series programs in
the Peach State of Georgia on May 3-4. Unfortunately,
Mother Nature wiped out the shows at both the Lavonia
Speedway in Lavonia, Georgia and the Swainsboro Raceway
in Swainsboro, Georgia... |

Racing Tackles Tennessee Triple Shot
(April
29, 2013) Clint Smith and his #44 team traveled
north to the Volunteer State of Tennessee on April 26-28
for a trio of $10,000 to win World of Outlaws Late Model
Series clashes. On Friday night at the Smoky Mountain
Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee, Clint timed in thirteenth
fastest in Group B during qualifying and later finished
sixth in his heat race and third in his B-Main. After
starting from the outside of the eleventh row in the 50-lap
main event, "Cat Daddy" unfortunately retired
around the halfway mark and wound up placed twentieth
in the final finishing order.
Following a rain-out on Saturday evening at the bad-fast
Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, Tennessee, the Clint Smith
Racing team wrapped up the weekend on Sunday at the Duck
River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tennessee. Clint unfortunately
lost a motor during qualifying, which sent him to the
back-up car for the remainder of the night. After grabbing
the sixth and final transfer spot through his heat race,
the Senoia, Georgia ace moved up ten positions during
the 50-lapper en route to a solid eighth place showing.

Broken Transmission
Slows "Cat Daddy" at 311...
(April
21, 2013) Following a rain-out on Friday night,
April 19 at the Fayetteville Motor Speedway in Fayetteville,
North Carolina, the Clint Smith Racing team rolled into
the 311 Motor Speedway in Madison, North Carolina on Saturday
evening, April 20 for another round of World of Outlaws
Late Model Series competition. Clint Smith timed in eighth
quickest during the qualifying session and later ran a
strong second in heat race action. After drawing the fourth
starting spot prior to the 50-lap feature event, Clint
had his eyes fixated on the $10,000 top prize. Unfortunately,
a broken transmission only eight laps into the A-Main
dropped the popular driver known as the "Cat Daddy"
to a twenty-fourth place finish. He now sits twelfth in
the latest version of the WOOLMS point standings following

#44 Team Invades
Tri-County and Smoky Mountain
(April
14, 2013) Clint Smith and his #44 team invaded
the Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, North Carolina
and the Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee
over the April 12-13 weekend for a pair of Spring Nationals
showdowns. On Friday night at Tri-County, Clint timed
in fifth fastest in his group during qualifying and later
won his B-Main to advance into the $4,000 to win main
event. In front of a huge crowd at the 1/4-mile bullring,
Clint charged inside of the top five late in the race
before a broken ball joint caused him to retire in the
thirteenth position.
At Smoky Mountain on Saturday evening, a $6,000 top prize
was on the line and 37 competitors packed the pit area.
Clint once again won his B-Main to earn the eleventh starting
spot for the 50-lap feature event. "Cat Daddy"
rolled past seven competitors in the A-Main en route to
a strong fourth place effort behind only winner Tommy
Kerr, Jonathan Davenport, and Vic Hill. Complete results

Back in WOOLMS Action at Farmer City...
(April
7, 2013) Clint Smith Racing resumed the 2013
World of Outlaws Late Model Series schedule on April 5-6
with the 5th Annual 'Illini 100' at the Farmer City Raceway
in Farmer City, Illinois. On Friday night, Clint Smith
timed in twelfth fastest in Group B during the qualifying
session and later finished seventh in his loaded heat
race. Following a second place effort in his B-Main on
Saturday evening, Clint rolled off starting from the inside
of the tenth row in the $20,000 to win feature event.
The Senoia, Georgia ace unfortunately retired early in
the 100-lapper on lap 69 and wound up placed nineteenth
