THE CLINT SMITH RACING TEAM

The Clint Smith race team is a true family affair, whether the team member is a relative or adopted family member, all of them have been in the sport for most, if not all, of their lives and are the biggest and best fans of the sport! 	DARRELL COOPER HOMETOWN: Tyrone, GA YEARS IN RACING - Lifetime (son of famed Georgia racer Sammy Cooper) NICKNAME: "fose to" MARITAL STATUS: single Darrell Cooper has returned to Clint's team to help after several years away due to some medical conditions. Darrell has worked with Clint off and on over the years, primarily during his early Southern All-Stars tours. Those within the metro Atlanta racing circuit may remember that Clint and Darrell's dad, Sammy, were fierce rivals during the 80's at Senoia Speedway. Fierce competitors on the track and good friends off, once Darrell's dad retired from racing, he came over to Clint's and started helping out part-time.
